Stop “Waiting” To Text Them Back

So… you go out and meet some fine person, but for whatever reason, society has taught you to wait to hit them up so that you don’t look “desperate”. Madame Noir says no.

Somehow, even though we have the right to vote, we have high power jobs and we dance on tables every weekend, women are still told to wait to text a guy back! To make it seem like we are “unavailable.” If you want to find a man that is emotionally available, organized and doesn’t play games, then you need to come off the same way by not being afraid to show your enthusiasm to respond, and by showing that you don’t randomly and regularly lose your phone for hours at a time.

As an advocate of directness, I’m going to have to say “no”, too. Don’t go around being overly attached, but why would you want to give someone you’re interested in the idea that you’re not that interested?

  1. Lmao!!! Thank u teesha,I hope every woman who is single reads this & emails it to her friends. I can’t count the number of women I’ve dropped because of this LOL. It absolutely is stupid. If I text or call u & u take ur time responding back…I just get rid of u! Who teaches women this foolish behavior?? What are the benefits? *shrugs*

  2. What if something really does happen to your phone just because a person tries to analyze too much and think “oh she plays games” then u miss out cause they waited to long to text back #lame. Have a little patience and get a life don’t stand around waiting for someone to respond cause then it will seem like its taking forever..

    • True. True, indeed. But c’mon. Sometimes it’s obvious. Like, you get three strikes haha. Unless there is a valid excuse. Okay, I sound like a teacher.

  3. what if you have really crappy cell service and the texts dont always come thru on a timely manner??
